Face and Neck Lifts
A.K.A. a Rhytidoplasty; a facelift is a plastic surgery procedure designed to address the
wrinkles of the face as well as other signs of aging. The traditional facelift is a redraping
procedure. The skin and underlying soft tissues are elevated and then repositioned in a more
youthful location.
Incisions are hidden in the natural boundaries around the ear and into the hairline. Excess neck skin and fat, as well as neck bands, can be addressed as part of this procedure. Most facelifts are done as an outpatient procedure.
Rhinoplasty - Nose Surgery
Aesthetic surgery of the nose is a rhinoplasty; also known as a “nose job”.
Rhinoplasty is one of the most commonly performed and requested facial procedures.
Rhinoplasty can be used to modify the appearance of the nose and/or improve the ability to breathe through the nose.
Blepharoplasty - Eyelid Surgery
Blepharoplasty is a medical term that means surgery of the eyelid. Surgery can be performed on
either the upper eyelid, lower eyelid or both, depending upon the patient's needs and desires.
Blepharoplasty improves the appearance of tired-looking eyes and reduces signs of aging and
fatigue; providing patients with a more youthful, awake, and vibrant appearance.
Dr. Robey specializes in ensuring incisions are not visible by hiding them in the natural eyelid
crease or just inside or beneath the lower eyelid.
Earlobe Repair - Revision
Earlobe revision is a procedure to repair the damage done by gauges or heavy earrings. Earlobe revision can correct damage ranging from pulled earlobes to full tears. Depending on the level of damage, and the desired appearance, the procedure can be performed in-office under local anesthesia or in the operating room.
Ear Reconstruction
An Otoplasty is a procedure to change the shape, position, or size of the ears. Otoplasty is
typically performed when patients are uncomfortable with the size of the ear and/or how far they stick out from the head. Otoplasty is also performed to correct symmetry. This procedure cannot be completed until the ears are full-grown; typically from age 5 - adulthood.
The procedure will not change the location of the ear, or affect the patient’s ability to hear.
Brow Lift
A brow lift is a cosmetic surgery to raise the eyebrows. This procedure is most commonly
performed to reduce forehead wrinkles or correct a low, sagging brow.
A brow lift is most often performed alongside a facelift or a blepharoplasty to reduce signs of aging and fatigue.

Aesthetic surgery of the nose is termed rhinoplasty. Open and closed surgical techniques exist to address undesirable cosmetic appearances of the nose. An open rhinoplasty means that an incision will be placed across the columella in addition to those incisions hidden on the inside of your nose. An open rhinoplasty allows for more exposure of nasal framework and is especially helpful when doing work on the nasal tip.
A closed rhinoplasty means no incision across the columella of the nose; exposure is obtained through incisions or hidden on the inside of the nose.

An eyebrow lift can address the appearance of a heavy or droopy brow as well as improving underlying eyebrow asymmetries. For women, the aesthetically ideal place for the eyebrows should be just above the orbital rim (underlying bone at top of eye socket). For men, the aesthetically ideal place for eyebrows to sit should be at or just above the orbital rim.
It is common for people to think the appearance of their tired eyes is related to excess eyelid skin alone. The descent of the eyebrows, however, is often a confounding factor. One way to test this yourself is to elevate your forehead and brows with one hand while looking in the mirror. If this maneuver improves the appearance of excess eyelid skin, you would likely benefit from a brow lift for optimal results. If this maneuver has no impact on your excess eyelid skin, a blepharoplasty alone might be enough to address your concerns.
Blepharoplasty is a medical term that means surgery of the eyelid. Surgery can be performed on either the upper or lower eyelids or both, depending upon the patient's needs and desires.
Surgery on the upper eyelid can help address excess skin and fat of the upper lid. This excess tissue can lead in the appearance of advanced age and fatigue. A blepharoplasty addresses these problems to achieve a more youthful and well-rested look. In most patients, the incision is hidden in the natural eyelid crease.
There are several approaches to the lower eyelid. For aesthetic surgery, the most common incisions are the transconjunctival and the subciliary incisions. The transconjunctival incision is hidden on the inside of your lower eyelid; this allows access to potentially bulging fat pads and/or access to droopy midface tissues for resuspension. The subciliary incision is placed just underneath the lower eyelid lashes. Excess fat and skin of the lower lid can be addressed with this approach.
The Western eyelid differs from the Asian or Oriental eyelid in that there is a crease in the upper eyelid. This crease is present in the Western eyelid because of direct attachments between the skin and underlying structure; the classic Asian eyelid naturally lacks these attachments. Surgically creating a connection between the skin and underlying structures results in formation of a permanent eyelid crease or the appearance of a double eyelid.
